I really like having a private blog. In this day and age, it seems you really can't be too careful. However, unlike open blogs, google reader (and others) won't update when there are new posts, and if you're like me, you have a lot to do and it's just easier to see what is updated in one glance instead of flipping through blog after blog.

So, a friend of mine came up with a clever way to bypass this limitation, and with her permission, I'm following suit. This blog will be my update feeder, so whenever I make a new post on my family private blog, I'll update this blog as well so that it comes up on a reader if you use one. Then you can visit if you'd like to see the latest. This is a really timely idea in light of some family circumstances; it will be easier for me to share the latest news.
