blogging on a snow day

The kids are home from school today because a snow day was called.  I love it when my kids get to be home with me.  It's nice to have a break from the routine.  I cleaned the house - scrubbing bathrooms and mopping floors- while the kids played and read books to each other this morning.  Then we ran a few errands.  Now we're home, safe and snug, as the snow comes down.  I just love days like this.  It also gave me some time to update the blog:

Once again, blogging hasn't been a high priority for me.  But, as it has been the one consistent way in which I am able to chronicle my life through recent  years, I try to find some time every month or so to catch up on what we've been up to.
